- 20 July 2004 - well...I haven't updated this in a while...the first
Hennessey's gig was a success as we have been invited back on the 23rd of
July...(Friday)...between then and now, mark and Jesse have been doing
their thing in San Diego...mark has been work a lot between two jobs...24
hour fitness and a bouncer at Maloney's downtown...Jesse has been working
at world market downtown...and i guess that i should probably add that the
gig on Friday July 23rd will be the last gig with mark and Jesse for a
while as Jesse is going back to Ohio to be with his fiancée and finish
school...Mark will be sticking around so-cal for quite a while and will
hopefully start playing at some of the restaurants downtown...until next
time...hope to see you all Friday at Hennessey's...

- 14 April 2004 - eight foot cactus
is officially in California. The drive took two days...1100 miles
the first day (March 22nd) and 1300 miles the second day (March 23rd)...we
have been living with Jesse's family in Murrieta, CA (about 50 miles north
of San Diego) for the past few weeks. We have found a place in
downtown San Diego in which we will be moving into by the first of May.
Mark and Jesse have been doing a lot of writing and composing (being out
here is quite an inspiration). Mark has been doing a lot of surfing
and swimming, while Jesse basks in the sun writing and doing crossword
puzzles. We are finally going to record a demo!!! We are going
to record with a local studio up in the mountains of Temecula either this
weekend or next week sometime. Keep checking back for more updates.
